FIRST CONTINENTAL CONGRESS- Carpenter’s Hall Philladelphaia, Pennsylvania September 5, 1774 – October 26,1774.

 

 

SECOND CONTINENTAL CONGRESS-Following the fighting at Lexington and concord a meeting was called delegates to the second continental congress.

 

GEORGE WASHINGTON- Agricultural chemist George Washington Carver developed crop-rotation methods for conserving nutrient in soil.

 

BATTLE OF BUNKER HILL- This battle was one of the earliest in the America Revolution. The battle’s name was a misnomer because the major part of the engagement was actually fought an Breeds Hill nearby.

 

OLIVE BRANCH PETITION- This document has the distinction, owing to its outstanding importance, of having been given a special designation by historians.
